Matt Deines
Matt Deines became President and CEO of First Fed in August 2019 and was elected President, CEO and Director of First Northwest in December 2019.
With over 20 years in the banking industry, Matt has significant banking and leadership experience, including in strategic planning and acquisitions, investor relations, financial reporting, and fintech. He also experience in operations, information technology, payments, internal controls and board governance. Matt is a General Partner in Meriwether Group Capital and serves on the board of Meriwether Group.
Matt serves as a Director for the Washington Bankers Association and has been a conference speaker and instructor for the WBA. He is a member of the Port Angeles Waterfront Center Board of Directors and is actively involved with several other non-profit organizations. In 2000, he received his Washington Certified Public Accountant certificate, currently inactive, while working for O’Rourke, Sacher & Moulton, LLP. Matt enjoys travel, golf and spending time with his wife, Meg, and two adult children, Mick and Jake.
